As we continue to grow, we may expand availability to additional states in the future. All telemedicine encounters are conducted in accordance with federal privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as applicable state regulations.
1. Telemedicine Eligibility
Telemedicine services are currently available only to patients physically located in Florida at the time of their appointment.
By scheduling a telemedicine visit, you confirm that:
You will be present in Florida during the encounter, and
You will provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding your location.
If we expand into other states, eligibility requirements will be updated.
2. Nature of Telemedicine Services
Telemedicine at The Confidence Clinic may include:
Video consultations
Audio-only consultations (when appropriate)

Telemedicine may be used for:

Telemedicine is not appropriate for medical emergencies.

6. Consent for Telemedicine
By participating in a telemedicine visit, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
You understand the nature, benefits, and limitations of telemedicine
You understand that your PHI may be transmitted electronically
You consent to treatment via secure telecommunication technology
You authorize The Confidence Clinic to review your medical records as needed
You understand you may withdraw consent at any time
You confirm you are physically located in Florida
You understand that insurance coverage for telemedicine may vary
Patients may be asked to sign an additional Telemedicine Consent Form before their first appointment.
7. Multi-State Expansion Disclaimer
The Confidence Clinic may expand telemedicine services to additional states.
Until officially announced:
Telemedicine is Florida-only, and
We cannot diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide medical advice to anyone located outside Florida during the encounter.

Out-of-State Appointment Restriction Notice
The Confidence Clinic is licensed to provide medical care and telemedicine services only to patients who are physically located within the State of Florida at the time of their appointment.
Patients located outside of Florida may NOT schedule appointments, consultations, or telemedicine visits with The Confidence Clinic.
This restriction is required by Florida medical licensing laws and applies to:
New patient appointments
Follow-up visits
Telemedicine consultations
Prescription renewals
Wellness, hormone, peptide, or weight-management consultations
Patient Location Verification
By scheduling an appointment, you confirm that:
You are physically present in Florida during the appointment,
You understand that telehealth services cannot be provided across state lines unless legally authorized,
You agree to truthfully report your physical location at the time of service.
If you are temporarily or permanently outside Florida, you must wait to schedule until you return to the state.
Automatic Appointment Cancellation
Appointments will be automatically canceled without refund if:
You are located outside of Florida at the time of scheduling,
You attempt to participate in a telemedicine visit from outside Florida,
You provide inaccurate or misleading location information.
This policy ensures compliance with Florida medical practice laws and protects both the patient and the provider.
Legal Compliance Statement
The Confidence Clinic follows Florida law governing medical practice and telehealth regulations.
Providing medical services to a patient located outside of Florida may violate:
Florida Statute 456.47 (Telehealth Practice Standards)
Florida Board of Medicine licensing rules
Federal telemedicine regulations
For this reason, appointments are restricted to patients physically in Florida until expansion to additional states is formally announced.
9. Prescription Testosterone USE Disclaimer
The Confidence Clinic adheres strictly to federal and state regulations governing the prescribing and dispensing of controlled substances, including testosterone and other androgenic medications.
Testosterone will only be prescribed when medically indicated and supported by appropriate clinical evaluation, laboratory findings, and documented symptoms consistent with hypogonadism or other recognized medical conditions.
We do not prescribe testosterone for any of the following purposes:
Bodybuilding or muscle enhancement unrelated to medical need
Cosmetic or performance-only enhancement
Athletic performance, competitive advantage, or recreational use
Weight loss unrelated to a documented hormonal deficiency
Any off-label use intended to increase muscle mass, strength, or physique for non-therapeutic reasons
Patients requesting testosterone therapy for non-medical, aesthetic, or performance purposes will not be accepted for treatment.
Compliance With Florida Law 456.072(2)
In accordance with Florida Statute 456.072(2), the Clinic recognizes that the prescribing of controlled substances—including testosterone—for other than a legitimate medical purpose constitutes grounds for disciplinary action under Florida law.
Under F.S. 456.072(2):
A healthcare practitioner may be subject to penalties, including fines, restrictions on practice, or revocation of license, if they are found to have prescribed, dispensed, or administered controlled substances for reasons not supported by accepted standards of medical practice or for non-medically justified purposes.
To maintain full compliance:
All testosterone prescriptions require documented medical necessity
All diagnoses must be supported by clinical evaluation and lab data
The Clinic will not provide testosterone for bodybuilding, enhancement, or recreational use
Any suspicion of medication misuse, diversion, or falsification of medical information will result in immediate reevaluation or discontinuation of therapy
The Confidence Clinic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if there is evidence of:
Medication misuse, abuse, or diversion
Falsification of medical history or lab results
Noncompliance with treatment protocols
Violation of federal or state controlled substance laws
All prescriptions and medical records are handled in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations, and all diagnostic and prescribing decisions follow current clinical guidelines, medical ethics, and state practice laws.

Compounded Peptides Are Not FDA-Approved
Many peptides frequently promoted online in the wellness or anti-aging space are not FDA-approved, including but not limited to:
If any compounded peptide is discussed with a patient, it is done with full disclosure that:
